LINUX / UNIX SHELLS
Freebelt.com's Unix Shell Accounts

SHELL WATCH: Shell accounts are provided on most Unix style systems. Shell accounts allow the user to directly TELNET or FTP into their account. Many shell accounts also offer C compilers and have other useful UNIX utilities readily available. The following is a list of providers offering FREE shell accounts.

We will add to this list as we learn of other providers providing free shell access. Many of these providers are offering a community service and accept donations of hardware or software. Keep in mind that some of these providers go down on occasion. We try to update this list frequently, but providers are subject to change.
